Abstract
The research consists of four chapters. The first chapter was devoted to presenting the research problem, its importance, its goal, and its limits, in addition to defining its terms. The research aimed to build a proposed curriculum for the clay subject for the secondary stage. The proposed curriculum was limited to the axis of plastic arts, which included four fields: artistic expression and drawing, shaping with different materials, design and decoration, artistic appreciation, and art history. The second chapter was devoted to the theoretical framework of the research, while the third chapter was devoted to the research procedures. We showed various methods and approaches in this regard, in line with the objectives of the subject and the levels of learners, in addition to the nature of the subject’s content and the available capabilities. This is also the case with educational techniques. Various types of classroom and non-classroom artistic activities were designed for the subject to be implemented by the teacher and learners under the supervision of teachers. Multiple evaluation methods were also presented for the teacher to use in order to ensure the extent to which the desired educational and teaching goals of the subject were achieved by learners. The validity of the curriculum content was extracted by presenting its contents in the form of separate parts. In its final comprehensive form, it was submitted to a group of experts in the field of education, clay, and art teaching methods. The fourth chapter was devoted to presenting the research results represented by the proposed curriculum that was built, in addition to the recommendations and proposals.
