Abstract
This research is concerned with studying (architectural structures and their representations in contemporary global ceramics) and consists of four chapters. The first chapter includes a statement of the research problem, the importance of the research, the need for it, the research objective and its limits, and the identification of the most important terms included in it and their definition. The current research problem included the topic (What are architectural structures and their representations in contemporary global ceramics? And how were they represented formatively?), which is a remarkable phenomenon. The current research aims to identify: (architectural structures and their representations in contemporary global ceramics.) Research limits: First: Objective limits: Studying architectural structures and their representations in contemporary global ceramics. In the images of ceramic works and executed with different materials and raw materials. Second: Temporal limits: (2000 - 2020) AD. Third: Spatial limits: The continents of (Europe, America). While the second chapter included the theoretical framework and previous studies and consisted of two topics: The first included (structuralism in the philosophical concept). The second section included (Architectural Structures Approaches in Contemporary Ceramic Art). As for the third chapter, it included the research procedures, the research community, and the intentional selection of the research sample of (3) models, then the research tool, the research methodology, and the analysis of the research sample. The fourth chapter, which dealt with (results and conclusions), included the following results: 1) The architectural structure in ceramic works emerged as an expressive feature and a clear imprint of contemporary global ceramics to reveal an intuitive vision and expression of the aspirations of ceramic artists towards the future. 2) Through studying and analyzing the ceramic works in the sample models, the great influence of modern trends in contemporary ceramic art appeared in terms of the architectural structure, which has become more innovative and geometric and far from imitating reality
