Abstract
The current research focuses on the study of the star as applied to architectural fields. The study relies on aesthetic and analytical aspects through a structural analysis of selected models of architectural geometric decorations. The research is divided into four chapters. The first addresses the research problem, the research objective, the importance and need for the research, defining the research boundaries, and finally introducing the most important terms contained in the title. The second chapter is divided into two sections: The first section is devoted to establishing the historical framework for star shapes, the field of study. The second section consists of two axes. The first section aims to build a cognitive framework regarding geometric decorative design (symbolic approaches). The second section provides a cognitive framework on the geometric and mathematical aspects of the star. The third chapter is devoted to the research procedures, which include: First: the research community, second: the research sample, third: the research tool, and fourth: the research methodology, in addition to an analysis of intentionally selected models of the superstar. The fourth chapter presents the most important findings reached by the researcher, as well as the conclusions, recommendations, and proposals. It also includes a list of the sources on which the research was based.
