Abstract
Life is built on the principle of harmony and contrast. Harmony is what drives life towards balance, development and the formation of a single, interconnected and harmonious structure. Harmony is considered one of the pillars of design construction or any work of art, as any design or formation is composed of a group of interconnected and woven structural elements that form different shapes and designs, which are governed by the relationships and foundations of design that the designer chooses to implement the idea that should be conveyed to the recipient.
Harmony is a must in organizing, arranging and coordinating in various fields, especially in the field of fabrics. It is considered an influence that aims to achieve a goal directly and in the fastest and most effective ways, including in the interior space. Fabrics are one of the most common design forms with functional value, as they are not devoid of being a message and a goal. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with the fabric that is present among a sometimes crowded amount of visual vocabulary, especially in the interior space, It is the primary basic element through which the designer deals with other elements in harmony to give it an aesthetic and functional quality within its field, so that it is more striking and attracts the attention of the recipients because through it he gives many meanings that the individual links to a specific thing and affects his acceptance or rejection of it.
