Abstract
aim of the research to: Design a training program for some different chess plans that serve research, identify following the training program for some chess plans to develop the scientific thinking skills of the players of the University of Babylon, learn about the scientific thinking skills needed for the chess players/University of Babylon. Research Problem: Players need a planned program to develop their performance level and deal with difficult situations and chess puzzles, in addition to developing their intellectual skills with scientific thinking, and to achieve research objectives: A six-week, six-week, theoretical and two-hands-on training programme was designed for the program’s content, and for the pilot group exclusively, and was also used as a measure of the development of scientific thinking skills. Research and Sample Society: Chess players are represented in Babylon University Colleges of Scientific and Humanitarian Specialization of 100 players and players, each college represents (3) players, (2) players, for the academic year 2024-2025. Samples were selected in a random manner and by reality (30), representing two experimental groups and applied and each group represented (15) players and players, and followed using the curriculum: The experimental two-test design (tribal-remote) of the variable (scientific thinking) called equal group design, Research results: Confirmed differences of statistical connotations between the averages of grades of the pilot group players in tribal and postgraduate applications to test the skills of developing scientific thinking and for the benefit of remote application, the most important conclusion: Increasing the experimental group's ability to pay attention and focus on accurate details with accurate decision-making, and developing the ability to adapt to sudden changes of play and attitudes, the program contributed to the development of scientific thinking skills in the experimental and control groups but in greater proportions in the experimental group and according to the results mentioned above.
