Abstract
Through the researcher's experience as a track and field instructor at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, she observed a weakness in the technical performance of first-year students when performing the shot put activity. This prompted the researcher to investigate ways to develop or improve technical performance, given that these students will become future teachers and will work to teach their students the sporting activities they have learned well. In this study, the researcher attempts to establish some learning variables by developing an educational curriculum using tactical approaches to develop explosive power. This will help identify the extent of progress achieved in technical performance in the shot put activity. This will be achieved after developing and implementing an educational curriculum based on sound scientific foundations, in the researcher's opinion, to ensure the advancement of the educational process for this activity.
