Abstract
The process of money laundering is a group of operations that aim to convert money obtained from illegal criminal sources into money that appears to be legitimate money. This is what enables the perpetrators to benefit from the proceeds of their crimes openly, as the perpetrator of money laundering performs several complex financial operations for the purpose of concealing the source of the illegal money and introducing it into the legitimate circulation of capital, and this is what leads to the integration of this money into the state’s financial system of the state to which these funds are directed, so that it becomes difficult to determine the source of the illicit money.
