Abstract
The economic system advocated by Islam is an integrated economic system that guarantees happiness for all individuals and solves all their economic problems through the existence of the divine constitution represented by the Holy Quran.
God Almighty said: “And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things.”
Imam Ali, peace be upon him, said in his hadith about the Holy Quran (Except that in it comes the talk about the past and the cure for your illness and the organization of what is between you
Imam Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, said about the comprehensiveness of Islamic law: “It contains everything that is permissible and forbidden, and everything that people need, even the fine for a scratch.”
In this integrated economic system that Islam called for, it clarifies the foundations that Islam depicts for achieving a green economy through its clarification of how to care for the environment and achieve the rational use of natural resources. It has identified a path to achieve sustainable development by strengthening the values of faith and establishing legislative provisions.
One of the foundations that Islam depicts to achieve the green economy in the modern concept is the investment of science, experience, and technical techniques to achieve the rational investment of natural resources by combining the sense of individual responsibility with the necessity of developing and improving these resources and creativity in exploiting them. Islam has made the possession of natural resources a natural right and an economic act in the case of benefiting from them, not monopolizing them.
