Abstract
This research aimed to demonstrate how authentic leadership contributes to developing the company's dynamic capabilities. What is the level of dynamic capabilities available in the company under study? And to study the relationship between authentic leadership and the development of dynamic capabilities in the work environment. The study population was taken from Al-Furat General Company for Chemical Resources Industry in Babylon, and the questionnaire was distributed to a stratified random sample of 213. The researcher reached results that show that the opinions of Al-Furat Company's leaders are consistent with their behaviors, in addition to their understanding of activities, encouraging their employees, and informing them of the truth about some matters despite their difficulty. The company's leaders need to reinforce the behavior of informing subordinates of all the difficult facts at work and giving them the appropriate opportunity to defend the value of intrinsic value and adequately listening to their opinions, in addition to understanding feedback before making decisions. The lower the level of these behaviors, the more the relationship between leaders and subordinates will be disrupted, as well as confusion in the psychological environment of the company. Finally, the researcher recommends that human resource professionals pay more attention to how they select administrative leaders. Interventions directed toward selecting authentic leaders may include a focus on integrity, self-respect, self-monitoring, and emotional intelligence as selection criteria to establish their effectiveness as essential qualities determining the emergence and effectiveness of authentic leadership.
