Abstract
The study aims to reveal the effectiveness of project-based learning in enhancing critical thinking skills from the point of view of professors. To achieve the aim of the study, an electronic questionnaire was sent to professors working in the education sector in the Iraq, and 272 questionnaires were obtained. The main study tool consisted of two measures of project-based learning and critical thinking skills. The results showed that project-based learning has a statistically significant positive impact on enhancing critical thinking skills. The study reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which is that implementing project-based learning to enhance critical thinking skills requires thoughtful planning and implementation.
