Abstract

The current research is summarized in four chapters: The first chapter, the methodological framework, stated the following research problem, which was summarized in the following question // (How is the mythological theme embodied technically in the music of the contemporary Iraqi theatrical performance (Serandbal) by Khazaal Al Majidi as an example). In the same chapter, the objective of the research was presented ((Learn about the technical embodiment of the mythical theme in the music of the contemporary Iraqi theatrical performance, the play Serendipal). The importance of the research came through revealing and diving into the technical embodiment of the legendary theme in the music of the contemporary Iraqi theatrical performance... The three limits of the research, temporal, spatial, and objective, were addressed, in addition to defining the terms mentioned in the title of the research. The second chapter includes the theoretical framework of the research, which included two sections // The topic
The first is the mythical theme...the term and concept. The second section is the technical embodiment of the mythical theme in contemporary Iraqi performance music. The second chapter ends with the most important indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework and previous studies. The third chapter includes research procedures and sample analysis, in which the two researchers chose (Khazal Al Majidi’s Serendipal sample). For analysis, for reasons that will be mentioned in the procedures chapter and to achieve the objectives of the research. As for the fourth chapter, it included results, conclusions, proposals, and recommendations. One of the most important results that the two researchers came out with was ((the possibility of embodying the mythical theme in the theatrical performance through the music element to give aesthetic, semantic, and philosophical dimensions)), One of the most prominent conclusions was: “Contemporary art is an ideal way to convey mythological themes in a contemporary technical theatrical artistic style  (should not be more that (250) words).
