Abstract
Modern-day organizations face increasing challenges in a changing and volatile business environment. Leadership agility and organizational adaptability are critical concepts for success and survival in this competitive environment. This study aims to analyze the relationship between agile leadership and flexibility of organizational adaptation in modern private universities. The study is also based on a review of current literature and theories related to agile leadership and flexibility of organizational adaptation, and it applies a survey methodology to collect data from a diverse sample of modern private universities. Questionnaires directed to employees and leaders and personal interviews were used to obtain detailed insights. 193 responses were obtained from private universities, represented by (Inheritance of the Prophets (peace be upon him), the sponsor, the dean). The data was analyzed using statistical and quantitative analysis techniques to understand the relationship between leadership agility and flexibility. Organizational adaptation, and checking for any factors and contexts that may affect this relationship. The results and recommendations were presented in a theoretical and practical framework that contributes to developing leadership and organization, and enhancing the ability of organizations and universities to adapt and grow in the changing business environment, while the most important recommendation is that organizations must adopt the concepts of agile leadership as a strategic framework to enhance the flexibility of organizational adaptation. Leaders should have the skills and knowledge necessary to apply agile leadership practices, such as innovative thinking, quick decision-making, empowering teams, and continuous learning, while the most important conclusion was that there is a positive and reciprocal relationship between leadership agility and organizational adaptability flexibility. It appears that leaders who practice agile leadership contribute to enhancing organizational adaptability in organizations. Organizations must realize the importance of developing outstanding leaders and providing an environment that encourages innovation, change, and learning to enhance their ability to adapt and respond to external challenges.
