Abstract
Technology and artificial intelligence are among the most important fields that impact progress and development in various domains, including architecture and architectural design. Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool that can be used to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of contemporary buildings, as well as improve user experience and environmental sustainability. This study aims to explore the role of artificial intelligence in architectural decoration, analyze its role in enhancing the visual appearance of contemporary buildings, and identify the challenges and opportunities associated with its applications. The research problem is defined by the following questions: What are the different methods used in creating patterns and decorations using artificial intelligence? What are the potential benefits of artificial intelligence in enhancing creativity in architectural decoration? The research includes a theoretical framework that discusses the concept of artificial intelligence and its uses in contemporary architectural decoration, and provides examples of famous buildings that have been implemented using artificial intelligence. The research relies on a descriptive methodology with an analytical approach to reach the results. The key findings include the ability of artificial intelligence to assist in creating new and innovative architectural patterns and decorations that may not be possible using traditional methods. Artificial intelligence can increase the productivity of architectural engineers by simplifying complex tasks, using digital assistance tools, and analyzing data to identify trends. The research concludes with several recommendations, including the importance for researchers and professionals to be aware of the latest technologies and tools available in the field of artificial intelligence and its applications in decorating contemporary buildings. Researchers and professionals should also pay attention to the ethical and legal challenges associated with using artificial intelligence in building design.
