Abstract
This study aimed to identify the order of the ratios of school sports motives among average students, where the researchers assumed that the order of the areas of these motives is as follows: fitness motives, psychological motives, artistic motives, and then social motives. The researchers also used the descriptive approach in the survey method due to its suitability with this study, and the sample was selected in an intentional way consisting of 129 students engaged in school sports teams in some averages of Misan Governorate. Where 15 students were taken in the exploratory study to verify the truthfulness, stability, and objectivity of the proposed hypothesis, and 114 students were taken to the basic study to reach the results of the study. The researchers also used a measurement tool in the form of a questionnaire of practice motivations. After distributing the questionnaire to the research sample and collecting information, statistical tools were applied represented in arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and percentage for the purpose of presenting and discussing the results obtained and analyzing the data, where it was found that the order of motives for practicing school sports among average students is fitness motives, psychological motives, technical motives, and in goodness social motives. Hence, we see that the results obtained were identical to the hypothesis of the research, so it can be said that the hypothesis is realized
