Abstract
Through the experience of the two researchers being practitioners and teachers of handball, they noticed that some of the teachers do not take into account the extent of the impact of modern strategies in developing design thinking and the practical application of defensive and offensive formations that need a large knowledge structure that helps him to move correctly according to the many and changing playing situations. As it is considered a stage Practical application is the most important and difficult stage to be taken care of, so the researchers thought Using the Polya strategy, which was used in many theoretical scientific fields only, introducing it to the mathematical side and benefiting from it in practical application in addition to design thinking, to be a new experience for this strategy in the practical mathematical side, and thus this development is beneficial in the student’s ability to practically apply defensive and offensive formations in handball As well as gaining time and effort, the research aims to:
1- Preparing a measure of design thinking in handball for students of the fourth stage in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - Al-Qasim Green University.
2- Preparing educational units according to the Polya strategy in design thinking and applying some defensive and offensive formations in handball for students of the fourth stage in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - Al-Qasim Green University.
