The current research is concerned with studying the ziggurat as the oldest archaeological site built at a right angle, and then architectural communication with this monument through the construction of the Malawi minaret. The study adopted the aesthetic and analytical aspect through an analysis of the general appearance of both buildings.
The research is divided into four chapters, the first of which addresses: the problem of the research, then the goal of the research, the importance of the research and the need for it, defining the limits of the research, and finally, it introduces the most important terms mentioned in the title.
The second chapter is divided into two sections:
The first topic: Architecture in Mesopotamia / a historical and aesthetic introduction. The second topic: Mathematics and architecture in Mesopotamia / intellectual approaches.
While the third chapter was devoted to research procedures, which include:
First: the research community, second: the research sample, third: the research tool, and fourth: the research methodology, as well as an analysis of the two research models (the ziggurat and the Malawi minaret).
The fourth chapter presented the most important findings reached by the researcher, as well as conclusions, recommendations and proposals. Also a list of the sources on which the research was based.
